Plesk Hosting requires a domain name to be associated with your account to function correctly. While you can add unlimited domains to your account; you need to provide a domain at the time of order – this is known as your primary domain.
If you need to register a new domain, you have the option to do so during the checkout process. If you already own the domain which you wish to use; you have two options. You can choose to transfer your domain registration to us - or you can update your domain nameservers to point to our platform.
How much bandwidth and disk Space does the hosting plan include?
Our web hosting plans provide sufficient resources for a personal or small business website. Unmetered means that there are no set limits on the bandwidth or disk space for the applicable plan on our platform.
However, customers need to be compliant with our Terms of Service. For e.g., Your website should not utilize more than 25% server resources for a duration longer than 90 seconds. Also, the web hosting plan should not be used for file storage or sharing. While it is rare, we might have to suspend your account, if the resource usage is affecting the customers on the same server.
What if I exceed the allotted server usage?
In case you exceed the bandwidth, we will send an email asking you to limit your usage and we might throttle your site’s bandwidth to ensure other users on the system are not affected.
