New Features Now Available

We are excited to introduce a major update to the SIRSTEVEHQ platform. These new features are designed to improve transparency, strengthen security, and give you more independence in managing your services.

Below is a detailed overview of what’s new:

Real-Time Uptime Reporting & Server Transparency

We have introduced a dedicated Uptime Monitoring Dashboard directly on your SIRSTEVEHQ account.

This feature allows you to:

• View real-time uptime performance of your hosting services
• Track historical uptime reports for better reliability monitoring
• Identify the exact datacenter location of your service

For example, if you are using our cPanel hosting, your server may be located in the Germany Datacenter, and you can view its performance under the SIRSTEVEHQ DC DE tab.

This ensures full transparency so you can independently verify the stability and performance of your hosting environment at any time.

Enhanced Account Security System

Security remains one of our top priorities. Due to increasing global cyber threats, we have introduced stronger account protection measures.

Account Number Verification

Each client now has a unique account number. When contacting live chat support for sensitive requests such as billing changes, data access, or account recovery, you may be asked to provide this number.

This ensures that only the legitimate account owner can access or modify sensitive information.

Email Security Notifications

You can now enable real-time email alerts for important account activities such as:

• Password changes
• Login attempts
• Security setting updates

This helps you monitor your account activity and quickly detect any unauthorized access.

Disable Forgot Password Option

For advanced security users, we have introduced the ability to disable the password reset feature.

When enabled:

• Password reset via email is blocked
• Any password change must be handled manually by our support team
• This adds an extra layer of protection against unauthorized account recovery attempts

You can access all these options under Account → Security Settings.

We are still working on introducing passkeys, and this will be communicated once the feature is available on our platform.

SMS Notifications for Critical Updates (Nigeria Only)

We now offer real-time SMS alerts for important service updates.

You can receive SMS notifications for:

• Invoice generation
• Service expiration reminders
• Payment confirmations
• Critical account alerts

To activate:

Go to Client Area → Your Profile → SMS Notification

This feature currently supports Nigerian mobile networks only:

• MTN
• Airtel
• Glo
• 9Mobile

This ensures you never miss important billing or service updates, even when you are offline.

Multiple Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) Options

We have expanded our authentication system to provide stronger login protection.

You can now choose from:

• Email-based 2FA
• SMS-based 2FA
• Time-based authenticator apps (TOTP)
• PIN-based authentication

We strongly recommend enabling at least one 2FA method. This significantly reduces the risk of unauthorized access, even if your password is compromised.

Self-Service cPanel Migration Tool

You can now migrate your website from another hosting provider to SIRSTEVEHQ without contacting support.

This tool allows you to:

• Transfer your entire cPanel account automatically
• Move files, databases, emails, and configurations
• Reduce downtime during migration

How to use it:

• Go to your cPanel service page
• Click on Start Migration
• Enter your old hosting cPanel credentials

This feature is currently available for cPanel hosting only, with support for additional control panels coming soon.

Self-Service Primary Domain Change

You can now change your primary domain directly from your client area without opening a support ticket.

This feature allows you to:

• Update your main domain name easily
• Avoid downtime caused by manual support handling
• Manage rebranding or domain changes instantly

To use it:

Go to your cPanel service page → Change Domain

This is currently available for cPanel hosting services only.

Service Transfer Between Clients

We have introduced a secure service transfer system that allows you to move ownership of any service to another SIRSTEVEHQ client.

This is useful for:

• Selling hosting services
• Transferring business ownership
• Moving services between team members

Key benefits:

• Instant transfer without support intervention
• Secure validation to prevent unauthorized transfers
• Works across all SIRSTEVEHQ services

You can find this option at the bottom of every service management page.
