We're excited to introduce a new WordPress Core Update setting in StackCache, giving you greater control over how your WordPress websites receive core updates.
You can now choose from three update modes:
- WordPress Default – Follows WordPress' standard behaviour by automatically installing security and maintenance updates only.
- Auto-Update All Core Releases – Automatically installs all WordPress core updates, including major releases, so your site always runs the latest version.
- Disable Core Auto-Updates – Turns off automatic WordPress core updates entirely, allowing you to manage updates manually.
This new feature makes it easier to align WordPress updates with your website's maintenance and deployment strategy while keeping you in control.
Availability
This feature is exclusively available on SIRSTEVEHQ CP hosting, including:
- Cloud Hosting
- Managed WordPress Hosting
- Cloud Servers
If you're already using SIRSTEVEHQ CP, you can access the new setting directly from the StackCache if you have WordPress installed.
