We’re excited to announce a new improvement to your SIRSTEVEHQ account experience: Usernames are now available on our platform!
You can now create a unique username for your account and use it to log in to your SIRSTEVEHQ Client Area, giving you another simple and convenient way to access your account.
What’s New?
Previously, you could access your Client Area using your registered email address. With the introduction of usernames, you now have the option to use your username instead of your email address when logging in.
Your username is unique to your account and can make signing in faster and easier, especially if you manage multiple services or prefer not to enter your email address every time you log in.
Already Have a SIRSTEVEHQ Account?
If you’re an existing customer, you can easily add a username to your account.
Simply:
- Log in to your SIRSTEVEHQ Client Area.
- Hover over your profile icon in the account area.
- Click Account Details.
- Locate the Username field.
- Enter your preferred username.
- Save your changes.
Once your username has been added, you can use it to log in to your Client Area instead of your registered email address.
You Can Change Your Username
Your username is not permanently fixed. If you decide you would prefer a different username later, you can return to your Account Details and update it.
This gives you the flexibility to choose a username that better represents you, your business, or the way you prefer to identify your account.
Please note that usernames must meet the requirements displayed on the username field, and a username that has already been taken or reserved cannot be used.
What About New Customers?
New customers will also have the option to create a username when setting up their account, making it possible to have a personalised login identifier from the beginning.
Why Introduce Usernames?
This update is part of our ongoing effort to make the SIRSTEVEHQ platform more convenient and easier to use.
A username provides an additional way to identify and access your account without relying solely on your email address. It also gives customers more flexibility in how they interact with their Client Area.
Your registered email address will continue to remain important for account communication, notifications, password recovery, and other account-related purposes.
Nothing Else About Your Account Changes
Introducing usernames does not affect your existing hosting services, domains, invoices, websites, or other services.
Your account, services, billing information, and other details remain exactly as they are.
This is simply a new login option designed to make accessing your Client Area more convenient.
