The AI Copilot is the conversational engine inside the Brand Strategy module. It understands your brand context and helps translate plain-language descriptions into a structured brand framework.

Instead of having to know exactly what information to provide or how to write a detailed brand strategy, you can simply describe your business naturally and let the AI help organize your ideas into a complete brand foundation.

Interface

The Copilot lives in the left panel of the Brand Strategy module. It provides a conversational interface where you can describe your business, answer questions, refine your strategy, and provide additional context.

When the AI is active and ready, the interface displays a Live indicator.

Hi! I'm your Brand Strategy AI Copilot. I'll help build a complete
brand foundation for [Your Brand]. Describe your brand idea below,
or pick a template to get started instantly.

The generated Brand DNA appears in the right panel, allowing you to see the results of your conversation and refine your strategy as you go.

Writing a Good Brand Prompt

The more useful context you provide, the more relevant and specific your Brand DNA can be.

You do not need to use technical language or write a perfect prompt. Simply explain your business clearly and include important information such as:

  • What your brand does — the product or service you provide
  • Who it's for — your target audience, including their needs, lifestyle, profession, values, or interests
  • How it feels — the personality and tone you want, such as premium, playful, bold, professional, or minimal
  • Where it sits — your market, positioning, price point, or the type of customers you want to attract

Example prompts

Too vague:

"A coffee brand"

This gives the AI very little information about your business, audience, or desired positioning.

Good:

"A premium specialty coffee brand focused on single-origin beans sourced directly from farmers. Our audience is urban professionals aged 25–40 who care deeply about craft, sustainability, and ritual. We want to feel elevated but not pretentious — warm and knowledgeable."

This provides information about the product, audience, values, and desired personality.

Great:

"A children's language learning app for ages 6–12. Parents are the buyer, kids are the user. The app uses games, songs, and stories to teach Spanish and French. We want to feel bright, encouraging, and fun — like an adventure, not a classroom. Competitors feel dry and repetitive; we're the one kids actually want to open."

This gives BrandPilot a much clearer understanding of the product, buyer, user, differentiation, personality, and desired market position.

Voice Input

If voice input is available in your BrandPilot interface, click the microphone icon in the Copilot chat field to describe your brand verbally.

You can speak naturally instead of typing your entire brand description. Your input is transcribed and processed by the AI, making voice input particularly useful when you have a longer or more detailed description to share.

For the best results, speak clearly and provide the same type of information you would normally include in a written prompt.

Quick Templates

Quick Templates are pre-built starting points that help you generate a brand strategy without having to write a detailed prompt from scratch.

Pick the template that best matches the type of brand you are building:

Template Description
Tech Startup B2B or B2C SaaS, developer tools, productivity apps, and technology businesses
Bold D2C Brand Consumer products with a strong and distinctive personality
Luxury Wellness Premium health, beauty, wellness, and lifestyle brands
Friendly Café Food, beverage, hospitality, and local businesses
Design Studio Creative agencies, freelance designers, studios, and portfolios
Playful App Consumer apps, children's products, gaming, and entertainment

After selecting a template, BrandPilot can use it as the starting context for generating your Brand DNA. You can then review the generated strategy and refine any section to better reflect your actual business.

Iterating with the Copilot

Your first Brand DNA does not have to be your final strategy.

After generating your initial strategy, you can continue chatting with the Copilot to refine specific elements of your brand.

For example:

  • "Make the brand voice more edgy and less corporate."
  • "Change the target audience to Gen Z."
  • "I want the color palette to feel warmer, with more amber and terracotta."
  • "Make the positioning more focused on affordability."
  • "Make the brand feel more professional and trustworthy."

The Copilot can use your existing brand context to help refine relevant sections without requiring you to start your entire strategy from scratch.

This makes the process more conversational and flexible. You can start with a broad idea and gradually shape it into a brand strategy that better represents your business.

Tips for Best Results

BE SPECIFIC ABOUT YOUR AUDIENCE

The more precisely you define your target audience, the more relevant your Brand DNA can become.

Instead of simply saying "young people," consider explaining their age range, profession, lifestyle, interests, problems, purchasing behavior, or values.

A clear audience description can also help improve downstream AI-generated content, including logo concepts, website copy, marketing content, and social media posts.

MENTION COMPETITORS OR REFERENCES

You can provide competitors, brands, products, or other references to help explain the direction you want.

For example:

"I want the brand to feel like Aesop meets Oatly."

Or:

"Less Starbucks, more Blue Bottle."

References can help communicate a desired combination of positioning, personality, visual direction, or customer experience.

However, references should be treated as inspiration and positioning context rather than instructions to copy another brand's identity.

USE INDUSTRY LANGUAGE

Industry-specific terminology can provide additional context and help BrandPilot understand the type of business you are building.

For example:

  • "Farm-to-table restaurant"
  • "Headless SaaS platform"
  • "Luxury streetwear brand"
  • "AI-powered accounting software"
  • "Direct-to-consumer skincare"

The more clearly you communicate your industry, audience, product, and desired positioning, the more useful your generated Brand Strategy can become.
