The Pages module is your website's visual editor. It lets you manage pages, edit sections, and control page-level settings without requiring you to work directly with code.
Page List
The left panel of the website editor shows the pages in your site. Each page entry can display:
- Page name
- A Home badge on the homepage
- Edit and Delete controls where available
The homepage
The homepage is the main page of your website and is identified with a Home badge. It serves as the primary entry point for visitors and can be renamed where supported.
Adding a page
Click + Add page at the bottom of the page list. Enter a page name and BrandPilot creates the new page, with an automatically generated URL slug where supported.
For example, a page named About may use /about as its URL slug.
Renaming a page
Select the page you want to rename and use the available edit control. Enter the new name and save the change.
Deleting a page
Select the page you want to remove and use the available Delete control. Confirm the deletion when prompted.
Review carefully before deleting a page, as deleted pages or their content may not be recoverable.
The Canvas
The canvas is the center panel and provides a live preview of your current page at the selected viewport size.
Viewport controls
Switch between Desktop, Tablet, and Mobile views using the available controls in the canvas toolbar. Use these views to check how your page responds across different screen sizes.
Selecting sections
Click any section on the canvas to select it. The selected section is highlighted, and the right panel updates to show the available properties and editing controls.
Sections Panel
Switch the left panel from Pages to Sections to see the sections on the current page in their current order:
- Drag sections to reorder them where supported
- Click a section in the list to select it on the canvas
- Add new sections using the available section options
The editor may also display the number of pages and sections currently included in your website.
Section Editing
Click a section on the canvas to edit it. Depending on the section type and available controls, you can:
- Edit text directly within the section
- Change the section background, image, or visual styling
- Rearrange supported columns, cards, or other content elements
More advanced section customization can be accessed through the right-panel Properties controls where available.
