The Themes module lets you apply pre-built visual styles to your website. A theme can influence colors, typography, spacing, and other visual elements across your website, helping you establish a consistent design without manually updating every individual section.
Accessing Themes
Go to Digital Presence → Website Builder → Themes to access the available themes.
You may also be able to access the Theme Library through the website builder, depending on your current workspace and interface.

Pay attention to:
- Typography
- Color treatment
- Spacing
- Section layouts
- Buttons and other interface elements
- Overall visual hierarchy
Previewing themes first helps you choose a design that complements your existing brand rather than selecting a theme based only on its thumbnail.
Relationship to Brand Strategy Colors
Your Brand Strategy provides important context for your website's visual identity, including your brand color palette.
When available, BrandPilot can use your established brand information as a foundation for your website design. A theme then provides the broader visual treatment, such as typography, spacing, layout patterns, and component styling.
This allows your website to maintain a connection to your overall brand identity while still benefiting from a professionally designed visual system.
If your current theme or website configuration provides options for overriding theme colors, you can use those controls to adjust the appearance to better match your brand.
After Applying a Theme
After applying a theme, you can continue editing individual pages and sections using the Pages editor.
Theme styles provide the overall design foundation, while section-level editing allows you to make additional adjustments to individual parts of your website where supported.
This means you can start with a complete visual system and then refine specific sections without having to build the entire design from scratch.
THEMES VS. BRAND COLORS
Think of a theme as the overall visual system of your website, including its typography, spacing, layout patterns, and general design direction.
Your brand colors are part of your broader brand identity and help make the website visually recognizable as your business.
The best results usually come from choosing a theme that complements your brand's personality and then refining the website with your established brand identity. This gives you a consistent design without losing the character of your brand.
