The Create Post tab is SIRSTEVEHQ BrandPilot's AI-assisted social media composer. You can write posts manually or use AI to generate captions, hashtags, and other content suggestions. BrandPilot can use information from your Brand Strategy to help keep your social content consistent with your brand voice, audience, and messaging.
Opening the Composer
Go to Digital Presence → Social Media → Create Post.
Post Composer
Platform selection
Select the platform or platforms you want to create content for:
- Instagram: Visual, image-focused social content
- LinkedIn: Professional content, including text and image posts
Where supported, you can create content for multiple platforms from the same composer. BrandPilot can adapt the content to suit the selected platform's format and audience.
Caption
Write your caption manually in the text field, or use AI generation to create a caption based on your topic, brand information, and selected platform.
When writing manually, keep the content appropriate for the platform and your target audience.
Platform character limits:
- Instagram: Up to 2,200 characters for captions
- LinkedIn: Up to 3,000 characters
These limits are platform-specific and may change if the social network updates its publishing requirements.
Hashtags
Add relevant hashtags to your post where appropriate.
BrandPilot may be able to suggest hashtags based on your post content, industry, and brand context. Use the available Suggest hashtags option to generate suggestions when it is available.
Review suggested hashtags before publishing and keep only those that are genuinely relevant to your content.
Media
Attach an image or other supported media to your post using the available media options.
You may be able to:
- Upload: Upload media directly from your device
- Brand Assets: Select existing brand imagery from your Brand Assets library
Media requirements vary between social platforms. Make sure your selected image or media format is supported by the platform before publishing.
Scheduling
Choose when you want your post to be published.
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Publish now | Publishes the post immediately when supported |
| Schedule | Select a specific future date and time |
| Best time | If available, BrandPilot can provide a suggested publishing time based on the available audience and platform information |
Scheduled posts can be reviewed and managed through the Calendar.
AI Caption Generation
Click Generate with AI to create a caption automatically.
BrandPilot can use information such as:
- Your brand voice from Brand Strategy
- Your target audience
- The image or topic you provide
- The selected social media platform
- Other relevant brand context available in your workspace
You can also provide a short instruction to guide the generation.
For example:
"New product launch. Limited batch of single-origin coffee. Create excitement while highlighting the limited availability."
Review the generated caption before publishing. You can edit the text, adjust the tone, remove unnecessary wording, and add or modify hashtags as needed.
Post Preview
The composer provides a preview of your content so you can review how it may appear on the selected platform.
Use the preview to check:
- Caption formatting
- Images or other attached media
- Text length
- Hashtags
- Overall presentation
Platform previews are intended as a visual guide. The final appearance may vary slightly when the post is displayed on the social network itself.
Saving as Draft
Click Save draft to save your post without publishing or scheduling it.
Draft content can be returned to and edited later. Depending on the current BrandPilot interface, saved drafts may also be visible from the Calendar or other social media content views.
Saving drafts is useful when you want to prepare content in advance and review it before publication.
Publishing
When your content is ready, choose Publish to publish it immediately or Schedule to select a future publishing date and time.
After scheduling, review the post in the Calendar to confirm that it has been added to your planned social media content.
Before publishing, check the final caption, media, hashtags, selected account, and publishing time to ensure everything is correct.
CONSISTENCY BEATS FREQUENCY
A consistent publishing routine can make it easier to maintain an active social media presence. Instead of creating every post at the last minute, use the Calendar to plan content in advance and organize your publishing schedule.
Focus on creating useful, relevant content that reflects your brand voice and provides value to your audience. A sustainable publishing schedule is generally easier to maintain than relying on high-volume posting alone.
