Brand Assets - BrandPilot

The Brand Assets library is the central storage location for files associated with your brand. It can be used to organize generated logos, business cards, website media, social media images, product photos, documents, and other brand files in one place.

Keeping your assets organized makes it easier to find the files you need when building your website, creating social media content, preparing marketing materials, or managing your brand identity.

Accessing Brand Assets

Go to Growth → Brand Assets from the sidebar.

Your Brand Assets library is associated with the current Workspace, so make sure you have selected the correct Workspace before managing files.

Library Overview

The Brand Assets area provides an overview of the files stored in your Workspace.

The header may display information such as your Workspace name, total asset count, and folder count.

For example:

18 assets · 6 folders

These figures help you quickly understand how much content is currently stored in your brand library.

Folders

Folders help you organize your assets according to their purpose or where they are used.

Common categories may include:

Folder Contents
All Assets Every file available in your library
Logos & Brand Mark Logo files and other brand identity assets
Print Collateral Business cards and other print-ready files
Website Assets Images and media used for your website
Social Media Images and creative assets used for social content
Products Product photography and eCommerce images
Documents PDFs, brand guidelines, presentations, and other documents

Each folder may display an asset count to help you see how many files it contains.

Creating a Folder

Click + New Folder at the bottom of the folder list.

Enter a name for the new folder and confirm it according to the available interface controls.

Use descriptive folder names that make your assets easy to locate later.

Renaming or Deleting a Folder

Hover over a folder to reveal the available folder actions, such as Rename or Delete, where supported.

Use Rename to change the folder name.

Use Delete when you no longer need the folder.

Deleting a Folder

Deleting a folder does not necessarily mean that the files associated with it are permanently deleted. Depending on the current BrandPilot behavior, assets may be returned to the main All Assets view.

To permanently remove an individual file, use the delete action available on that asset.

Generated Assets

BrandPilot may highlight Generated Assets in the asset library. These are files created through BrandPilot's creative tools, such as the Logo Generator and Collateral features.

Separating generated assets from uploaded files makes it easier to identify content created within BrandPilot.

A generated asset may display:

  • A thumbnail or preview of the asset
  • File name
  • File format
  • Asset origin, where available

Where supported, selecting a generated asset may allow you to return to the BrandPilot module where the asset was created. For example, a logo may open in the Logo Editor for further editing.

Asset Grid

Below the generated assets area, your remaining files are displayed in an asset grid.

Assets may be organized by Newest first by default, with additional sorting options available depending on the current BrandPilot interface.

Asset Card

Each asset card can provide information such as:

  • Thumbnail or file type icon
  • File format
  • File name
  • File size
  • Available preview and management actions

The information and actions displayed can vary depending on the asset type.

Previewing an Asset

Select the Preview option on an asset to open a larger view of the file, where previewing is supported.

Previewing an asset allows you to confirm its contents before downloading, moving, renaming, or deleting it.

Asset Actions (⋯ Menu)

Use the ellipsis ⋯ menu on an asset to access available file actions.

Depending on the asset type, available actions may include:

  • Download: Download the file to your device
  • Rename: Change the file name
  • Move to Folder: Move the asset to another folder
  • Delete: Remove the asset from your library

Filtering and Sorting

Use the available filters and sorting controls to find and organize assets more efficiently.

Filter by Type

Where available, asset filters can be used to display specific categories of files.

Filter Shows
All Assets All files in the library
Logos Logo and brand mark files
Brand Collateral Business cards and other brand collateral
Website Media Images and media associated with your website
Social Media Social media creative assets
Product Images Product and eCommerce images
Documents PDFs and other document files

The available filters may vary depending on the assets in your Workspace and the current BrandPilot interface.

Sort Order

Available sorting options may include:

Option Description
Newest First Most recently added assets first
Oldest First Oldest assets first
Name A–Z Alphabetical order from A to Z
Name Z–A Reverse alphabetical order
Largest First Largest files first

Search

Use the search field to find an asset by its file name.

Search can be especially useful when your Workspace contains a large number of logos, images, documents, or other brand files.

Uploading Assets

Use Upload Asset in the Brand Assets area to upload files from your device.

Supported formats may include common brand and media formats such as:

  • SVG
  • PNG
  • JPG/JPEG
  • PDF
  • Other supported document formats

Uploaded assets are added to your Brand Assets library. Where folder management is available, you can move the file into the appropriate folder using its ⋯ menu.

Before uploading, make sure the file is in a supported format and that you have the necessary rights to use the content.

Downloading Assets

To download an individual asset, open the asset's ⋯ menu and select Download, where available.

For logos and other brand identity files, download the appropriate file format for the intended use. For example, vector formats such as SVG can be useful for scalable digital or design applications, while PNG files can be convenient for general digital use.

Logo Pack Export

If Export Pack is available for your Workspace and logo assets, you can use it from the Logos & Brand Mark area to export available logo variants together.

The exact formats and packaging options provided by BrandPilot may depend on the logo assets and current export functionality.
