How Do I Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for My SIRSTEVEHQ Client Area?

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your SIRSTEVEHQ Client Area by requiring a second verification step in addition to your password when signing in. Even if someone obtains your password, they will not be able to access your account without the second authentication factor.

We strongly recommend enabling 2FA to help protect your domains, hosting services, invoices, support tickets, and other sensitive account information.

How to Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Step 1 - Log in to your SIRSTEVEHQ Client Area.

Step 2 - Navigate to Account Details or Security Settings.

Step 3 - Locate the Two-Factor Authentication section.

Step 4 - Click Enable Two-Factor Authentication.

Step 5 - Choose your preferred authentication method (SMS, Email, Pin 2FA, or Authenticator app).

Step 6 - Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.

Step 7 - If using an authenticator app, scan the QR code using your preferred authentication app (such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, or Authy).

Step 8 - Enter the verification code generated by the app to confirm the setup.

Step 9 - Save your changes.

Once enabled, you will be required to enter both your password and a time-based verification code each time you log in to your Client Area.

We recommend securely storing any backup or recovery codes provided during the setup process. These codes can help you regain access to your account if you lose your mobile device or uninstall your authenticator app.

If you change or replace your mobile device, be sure to transfer your authenticator accounts before resetting or disposing of the old device. Failure to do so may prevent you from accessing your Client Area.

If you are unable to access your Two-Factor Authentication device or have lost your recovery codes, please submit a Support Ticket to our Support Team. For security reasons, we will verify your identity before disabling or resetting Two-Factor Authentication on your account.

Never share your authentication codes or recovery codes with anyone, including our Support Team. SIRSTEVEHQ will never ask you to provide your 2FA verification code. Keeping Two-Factor Authentication enabled significantly reduces the risk of unauthorised access to your account.
