The time it takes to register a domain name depends on the domain extension, the successful completion of your order, and whether any manual verification is required.
In most cases, domain registrations are processed within a few minutes after your payment has been successfully received and verified. Once the registration is completed, your domain will appear in the Domains section of your SIRSTEVEHQ Client Area, where you can begin managing it.
How Domain Registration Works
Step 1 - Search for your desired domain name on the SIRSTEVEHQ website.
Step 2 - Add the available domain to your cart.
Step 3 - Complete the checkout process.
Step 4 - Make payment using your preferred payment method.
Step 5 - Once payment has been confirmed, your registration request is submitted to the domain registry.
Step 6 - After the registry successfully registers the domain, it becomes active and is added to your Client Area.
While many domain registrations are completed almost instantly, some registrations may take longer due to reasons such as:
- Manual payment verification.
- Registry maintenance or temporary delays.
- Additional verification required by the domain registry.
- Registration of certain country-code domain extensions (ccTLDs), which may have specific approval processes or documentation requirements.
Please note that registering a domain does not immediately make your website available online. If you intend to use the domain for a website or email service, you will also need to:
- Purchase a web hosting plan (if you have not already done so).
- Configure the appropriate nameservers or DNS records.
- Allow time for DNS propagation, which may take up to 24 to 48 hours worldwide after DNS changes are made.
If your domain registration remains pending for an unusually long period, please first check that your payment has been completed successfully. You can also review your order status in your Client Area.
If your order is still pending after payment has been confirmed, please submit a Support Ticket. Include your order number, domain name, and proof of payment (if applicable), and our Support Team will investigate the status of your registration and provide you with an update.
