If you no longer require a service, you can submit a cancellation request directly from your SIRSTEVEHQ Client Area. Submitting a cancellation request ensures that your service will not renew automatically and informs our team that you no longer wish to continue using the service.
Please note that cancelling a service does not automatically cancel unpaid invoices that were generated before the cancellation request was submitted, and it does not automatically entitle you to a refund unless your service qualifies under our refund policy.
How to Request a Service Cancellation
Step 1 - Log in to your SIRSTEVEHQ Client Area.
Step 2 - Navigate to Services and click My Services.
Step 3 - Select the service you wish to cancel.
Step 4 - Click Request Cancellation.
Step 5 - Choose your preferred cancellation type.
Step 6 - Provide the reason for your cancellation request.
Step 7 - Submit the cancellation request.
Once submitted, your cancellation request will be recorded and processed according to the cancellation type you selected.
Cancellation Types
You may see one or both of the following options:
- Immediate Cancellation – The service will be terminated as soon as the cancellation request is processed. Your website, files, emails, databases, and all associated data may become inaccessible immediately after the service is terminated.
- End of Billing Period Cancellation – Your service will remain active until the end of its current billing cycle and will then be cancelled without further renewal.
If you still need access to your website or data, we recommend selecting End of Billing Period Cancellation and ensuring you take a full backup before the service expires.
Important Information Before Cancelling
Before submitting a cancellation request, please ensure that:
- You have downloaded a backup of your website files and databases.
- You have downloaded any important emails if you use email hosting with the service.
- You have transferred any domains if they are associated with another provider or service.
- You no longer require the service or its data.
Once a service has been terminated, recovery may not always be possible.
Cancelling a Hosting Service Does Not Cancel Your Domain
If your hosting package includes a separate domain registration, cancelling your hosting service will not automatically cancel your domain name.
Your domain will remain active until its expiry date unless you separately allow it to expire or request cancellation where applicable.
Can I Reverse a Cancellation Request?
In some cases, a cancellation request may be reversed before the service has been terminated.
If you submitted a cancellation request by mistake, please open a Support Ticket as soon as possible. Once a service has been permanently terminated, restoration may not always be possible.
